Who am I?

Hello everybody! My name is Christin Gahnström. I'm 22 years old and I live north of Gothenburg in Sweden. Last year I studied film theories and now I've moved on to journalism studies, both at the University of Gothenburgh.

Now then, What's so good about Oliver!?

Well, I've always been interested in films. I like films, almost everyone I see. But sometimes I don't just like them, sometimes it's love at first sight, and that's what happened when I saw Oliver! the first time about three years ago. What I did was basically that I saw it, rewinded the tape and saw it again. And again. And again... I guess it all started when I was just three or four years old, when my parents took me to the movies for the first time. According to them (this is nothing I can remember) I actually sat still for 1 1/2 hour. That had probably never happened before. My first really strong memory of a film is from another version of Oliver Twist, the one from 1948. I can't have been more than six years old. And I thought it was so GOOD. (A bit scary, though...) Since then I've been a fan of Dickens in general and particularly of Oliver Twist.
